Local SEO is a different game from national SEO, and most agencies run the national playbook and hope. Ranking in the map pack has its own inputs: proximity, prominence, and relevance, expressed through your Google Business Profile, your citations, your reviews, and how well your website proves you actually operate where you claim to operate.

I have been doing this for local service businesses since long before “local SEO” was a category. The pattern is always the same: the technical foundation is quietly broken, the business information is inconsistent across the web, and the site has one thin page trying to rank for a whole city.

The four pillars of local search visibility

1. Structured data that speaks Google’s language

Schema markup lets a search engine read your business instead of guessing at it. Local businesses that hold the top of the results almost always have thorough markup across the site, not just a name and a phone number.

What we do:

  • LocalBusiness schema with full NAP, hours, geo-coordinates, and service areas
  • Structured data for services, products, reviews, images, and video
  • hasMap, priceRange, sameAs, and the other properties most sites skip
  • Validation of every piece of markup, because broken schema is worse than none

2. Citation consistency across the web

Citations are mentions of your business across directories and platforms, and Google uses them to verify that your business information is real. Inconsistent data is a trust problem: two different phone numbers on two directories is a reason to rank you lower.

What we do:

  • Submit the business to the top aggregators and directories
  • Make NAP data identical everywhere it appears
  • Clean up incorrect and duplicate listings, which is usually the bigger job
  • Build industry-specific and location-specific listings using Moz Local, BrightLocal, Whitespark, and Yext

3. Reviews that carry keywords

Google reads review text to understand what you actually do. A review that says “great service” helps your star rating. A review that says “they replaced our AC in Hallandale Beach on a Sunday” helps your rankings. The difference comes from how you ask.

We help you build review prompts that get customers to mention the service and the place naturally, then monitor and respond across Google, Yelp, and Facebook.

4. Local links from real-world connections

Google gives extra weight to links from trusted, location-relevant sites. Your Chamber of Commerce, regional news outlets, local blogs, event listings you sponsor, partnerships you already have. These are votes of confidence from inside your own ecosystem, and they are the ones nobody can buy in bulk.

What this looks like in practice

Dallas Party Bus came to us on a static HTML site pulling 10 to 15 organic sessions a month in a market full of competitors with modern websites. We rebuilt the site, ran the four pillars above, and put the drivers’ real faces on the About page. Average keyword position went from about 40 to about 10, and organic traffic tripled. The full write-up is in the Dallas Party Bus case study.

Local SEO is part of the 12-month program, not a separate invoice. If your business is in South Florida, the Aventura and North Miami pages cover the market specifics.

Common questions about local SEO

How long does local SEO take to work?

Google Business Profile and citation fixes can move map pack visibility within weeks. Organic rankings for competitive local terms take three to six months. Businesses in less contested markets often move faster.

Do I need a physical address to rank locally?

Not necessarily. Service-area businesses can rank without a storefront, but the Google Business Profile has to be configured correctly for that model, and the website has to make the service area obvious.

Can you help if my Google Business Profile is suspended?

Usually, yes. Suspensions almost always trace back to an information mismatch or a category or address problem. That gets diagnosed during the audit stage.

Is local SEO included in the $2,950 program?

Yes. There is one program and one price. Local work is simply what the program does when your customers search locally.
