Oceana Marketing is a US-owned SEO company based in Aventura, Florida. We sell one thing: a 12-month SEO program for established businesses, run by an AI team under human direction. This page is about who is behind it and why it is built this way.
Who runs the work
My name is Slava Rybalka. I have been doing SEO for more than 15 years, going back to 2008, first inside companies and then through Athena SEO, the agency Oceana grew out of. Along the way I worked on organic growth at Chewy, where monthly organic visits went from roughly 3 million to 4 million during my time on that work, and at Arteza, where organic traffic tripled. I have also done technical SEO, content roadmaps, migrations, and site architecture for a long list of smaller businesses whose names would mean nothing to you but whose revenue depended on it.
Two things sit alongside the SEO experience and change how I work. I spent close to two years at Udacity studying machine learning, and a year at the Kellogg School of Business studying strategic marketing. That combination is why Oceana is built as a system rather than a service — I can see what should be automated, and I know enough about marketing strategy to know what should not be.
Why the company exists in this shape
Agencies spend an enormous share of every retainer on work that is necessary and repetitive: pulling rankings, reading Search Console, checking what broke technically, comparing competitors, assembling reports. That work has to happen. It does not have to be done by a person.
So we automated about 85% of it. Each client goes into the Oceana system, where a virtual team monitors the site and performs improvements across technical SEO, content, internal linking, and search visibility. What is left is judgment — what to prioritize, what to ignore, what a strange number actually means — and that stays with me. If you want the longer argument about why the judgment part is not going away, I wrote it up in is SEO becoming obsolete.
The efficiency is the whole reason a full year of professional SEO can cost $2,950 instead of $2,950 a month. It is not a discount. It is a different operating model.
What we will not do
- Guarantee rankings. Nobody credible can, and the people who do are selling you positions for terms nobody searches.
- Buy links, hide content, fake reviews, or use any other shortcut that puts your brand at risk for a temporary bump.
- Take on a website that needs a rebuild before optimization is worth anything. I will tell you that instead of taking the year of payments.
- Send you a report full of metrics that do not connect to revenue.
Who we work with
Established US businesses with a working website: online stores, dental practices, moving companies, home improvement contractors, and professional service firms. Some are national, some depend entirely on local search. Past and present work includes FiltersFast, Dallas Outdoor Kitchens, ACE Data Recovery, SmartGlass Technologies, Royal Moving, and VS Dental Group.
The case studies show the work in detail. Everything else is on the SEO services page.
